From the Desk of Mr. Steven Smith, Principal

Dear Lakenheath MS Families,

As we approach the end of the first quarter of the 2025–2026 school year, I want to take a moment to reflect on the incredible start we've had together. My first few months as principal here at Lakenheath Middle School have been truly rewarding. I’ve had the pleasure of witnessing our students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally, and I’m proud of the strong sense of community that defines our school.

This fall, our 8th graders successfully completed the PSAT, demonstrating their readiness for future academic challenges. Our 6th graders also took the CoGAT test, giving us valuable insights into their learning styles and strengths. These milestones are a testament to the hard work and dedication of our students, staff, and families.

As the autumn leaves begin to fall and the winter months approach, we look forward to a successful second quarter filled with continued learning, growth, and celebration. The upcoming holiday season is a time of joy and reflection, and we are committed to maintaining a positive and productive environment for all.
