UK Day 2025 - Folk Dancing
As part of our vibrant UK Day 2025 celebrations, our 6th grade students took a joyful step back in time by learning and performing traditional UK folk dances. With feet tapping and smiles all around, the students explored the rich cultural heritage of the United Kingdom through lively group dances, rhythmic patterns, and classic formations. Guided by experienced instructors, they learned the steps and embraced the spirit of community and celebration. It was a heartwarming display of energy, teamwork, and cultural appreciation—an unforgettable highlight of the day!
UK Day 2025 Roman Soldiers
During UK Day 2025, our 6th grade students stepped into the sandals of Roman soldiers as they explored the fascinating world of ancient Britain under Roman rule. Through hands-on activities and engaging lessons, students learned about the daily life, discipline, and equipment of Roman legionaries. From trying on replica armor to practicing basic marching drills, they gained a deeper understanding of what it meant to be part of one of history’s most formidable armies. The experience brought history to life in an exciting and memorable way!
